The Firefox Lecture

Firefox has about 20% market share of the installed browsers. It would damn well have 100% market share if everyone did web design. It isn't because it has extra buttons or flash features it's becasue it actually works as it should and us poor web designers don't have to spend 50% of the time it takes to develop a website testing every other browser and writing code to deal with their flaws.

Most web designers use Firefox, all the best web designers do! This is because it has fantastic extensions that make debugging sites easier. Seriously every version of IE is stuffed and every stuff version is stuffed differently. Safari fails on critical JavaScript implementations, seems in this project the Jquery extras has at least 3 issues with Safari, including brain dead z-index understanding for Flash layers.

Likely my conscience will get the better of be and I'll go make things works for 'the others' but I'd so rather not have to.
